Adjective: SUNDAZED. To be seduced by the sun in a state of summer bliss. To bask in the freedom of solar worship, a place where time stands still.
A mythical undoing of body and mind in a mid-summer’s daydream. The state of total immersion - an addictive experience for sun-chasers everywhere.
In a psychosomatic journey of free love, SUNDAZED catapults through sunny top notes of mandarin and Californian lemon to a bold heart of neroli and Arabian jasmine.
Like cotton candy, a cascade of white musk injects this citrus scent with the endorphin rush of sugar on skin.
Nostalgia and escapism entwine to channel the warmth of an endless summer.

"Palais Bourbon, the Parisian home of the Assemblée Nationale, is made for unprecedented alliances. Behind its majestic pediment, the persuasive vanilla from Madagascar does not wield its power alone; it works with amber and oud as they develop their notes with warmth. Three parties occupy the benches, represented by spices, woods and balsams, and each brings its own touch and character to this olfactory assembly. A fragrance of contrast and cooperation, Palais Bourbon appeals with a unanimous show of hands: those that gladly hold the bottle and apply the fragrance."

Bal d’Afrique is one of my earliest fragrances. At the time of its formulation, I was obsessed with the translation of memories into scent. At the same time, I felt confident enough to include an imaginary component. My father lived and travelled in Africa for about 10-15 years. I would read his diaries; the way he travelled on freight ships, met all kinds of different people… For me, this was the fantasy of arriving in Africa through somebody else’s words. Bal d’Afrique reflects that; it’s an imaginary journey as well as a complete celebration of how I see African culture and its influence.
